CLAIRE WASSER
High Falls based visual artist has been honing her skills in watercolor, collage, pen and ink, and encaustics for many years. She is inspired by nature, the connections between math and art, of interrelationships between the obscure and the sublime, as well as conveying social/environmental issues. Her style is a combination of representational, geometric, impressionistic, and abstract.
Claire Wasser holds a BFA in Painting from SUNY New Paltz, and a Master's of Arts in Teaching from Empire State College.
Claire Wasser's work is among private and public collections. Her illustrated work has been published in periodicals and articles have been written on her work in local publications. Her work has been exhibited throughout the Hudson Valley, in NYC, and in Savannah, Georgia.
